Upcoming OHL games postponed

The Ontario Hockey League's (OHL) London Knights and Sarnia Sting won't play the scheduled home and home games coming out of the Christmas break.

News releases from both teams said that the games will be rescheduled for later dates.

Sarnia will also reschedule a third game, set to be played against the Windsor Spitfires.

All of the games are being postponed due to COVID-19 protocols affecting the Sarnia Sting.

The affected games are the following:

Wednesday, December 29 – London Knights at Sarnia Sting (Progressive Auto Sales Arena)

Friday, December 31 – Sarnia Sting at London Knights (Budweiser Gardens)

Sunday, January 2 – Windsor Spitfires at Sarnia Sting (Progressive Auto Sales Arena)

Sarnia advised that ticket holders for the games (as well as the previously postponed game on December, 17 against the Flint Firebirds) should hold on to their tickets as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

The Knights haven't yet said what will happen for the New Year's Eve game but provided the same arrangement for ticketholders regarding the postponement of the December, 17 game against the Owen Sound Attack.
