Over $200K in stolen property found southwest of London

Police are continuing to investigate the discovery of more than $200,000 worth of stolen property found during a search on the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.

The OPP Elgin Middlesex street crime unit and emergency response team and members of the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police Service raided a property on Ballpark Road around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Among the stolen items recovered were camper trailers, a pickup truck, a car, an enclosed trailer, a utility trailer, and car dolly.

At this point, no arrests have been made in connection with the stolen goods.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
