Craig Needles Podcast Episode 21: Craig Smith and Dave Warren

The podcast opens with a conversation with Craig Smith, the Thames Valley President of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.

He discusses the return to school Monday, ways the government should be supporting safe classrooms  and more.

Then Dave Warren join the podcast.

In 2018, Dave and his wife Dawn met Craig as she was in mental health crisis. Dave appeared on Craig's radio show to tell the story of how Dawn spent five days on a gurney in a hallway near the ER waiting room at London Health Sciences Centre.

Sadly, late last year, Dawn died.

Dave and Craig talk about mental health care and where our system is letting people down.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
