St. Thomas police recently began investigating allegations from back in the summer regarding a sexual assault that took place in the city.
No other details about the incident have been released, but police ended up issuing an arrest warrant for a 26-year-old man in the case. The man, whose name has not been released, turned himself into police on Friday morning.
He has been charged with sexual assault.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
