Update: Police investigating fatal stabbing

London police say a man is dead after a stabbing on Springbank Drive in London's first homicide of 2022.

Around 11:45 a.m. Monday, police were called to Springbank Drive near Wharncliffe Road, where a man had suffered what police called "significant injuries." The man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition. Police announced on Monday afternoon that the man had died.

No arrests have been made.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
