Police investigate bomb threat at north London school

There were some tense moments Tuesday for students and staff after a bomb threat was made to a north London secondary school.

The threat to Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School on Sunningdale Road East came in around 9:15 a.m.

London police officers with the emergency response unit and canine unit searched the school, both inside and outside, and found nothing suspicious.

No other details including how the threat was made have been released.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
