Police investigating incident that left two people hurt in northwest London

One person has been arrested following an incident at a home in northwest London that sent two people to hospital, one in serious condition.

London police were called to the home in the area of Whetherfield Street and Beaverbrook Avenue around 9 a.m. When officers arrived on scene they found a man and woman suffering from unspecified injuries. Police said one of the two was seriously hurt. Both were taken to hospital.

A person was arrested in connection with the incident after a brief search of the area. At this point, no charges have been laid and no other details about what happened at the house have been released.

Police stated that there is no risk to public safety and that they are in the early stages of their investigation.
