One man seriously injured in south London crash

A serious crash in south London has left a man fighting for life in hospital.

Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Wellington Road South at Harry White Drive around 12:40 a.m. on Monday.

The man driving the vehicle had to be cut from the wreckage. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Wellington Road between Harry White Drive and Reagan Bourne was closed in both directions for roughly seven hours.  It was reopened just before 8 a.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
