One charged in northeast London drug bust

London police say one person is facing charges after officers seized cocaine and other drugs from a home in northeast London.

Officers raided a home on Dylan Street on Wednesday evening. According to police, officers seized 85 grams of cocaine, three grams of MDMA, and 43 TEC pills. The value of the drugs is estimated by police at $8,880. Police also seized $2,000 in Canadian cash and $290 in U.S. currency, as well as drug packaging, an electronic scale, and a cellular phone.

A 43-year-old London man is charged with three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He is to appear in court May 20, 2022.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
