Police probe suspicious vehicle fire in Old East

An early morning fire in Old East Village has been deemed suspicious.

London firefighters were called to Adelaide Street near Dundas Street around 3:30 a.m. Thursday after a vehicle went up in flames.

Crews extinguished the fire relatively quickly.

No one was hurt and damage is estimated at $5,000.

London police believe the fire is "suspicious in nature". Officers with the street crime unit continue to investigate.
