London man faces impaired driving charges in south-end crash

Police have laid charges against a London man who reportedly fled the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the city's south end.

At around 8 p.m. Thursday, emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash in the area of Commissioners Road West and Andover Drive. While on their way to the scene, police were notified that one of the drivers ran off from one of the vehicles.

Officers were given a description of the man, and he was tracked a short time later.

There were no injuries.

During the investigation, police discovered the licence plates attached to the suspect's vehicle were reported stolen in January.

As a result, 28-year-old Kadeem Henry faces several charges including: • Impaired exceeding blood alcohol concentration • Impaired operation, Possession of property obtained by crime, • Failing to remain at the scene of a crash, • Driving without a licence • Driving while suspended

He is scheduled to appear in court on May 31.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
