One injured in armed robbery in Northwest London

London Police found the vehicle used in an armed robbery on Friday, but they are still looking for suspects.

Police said suspects walked into a store in the Oxford Street West and Wharncliffe Road North area around 5:40 p.m., showed the staff their firearms, and demanded property.

Once they got what they were after, they fled in a waiting vehicle.

Investigators later found the vehicle outside the city.

There were patrons inside the store, and a staff member suffered minor injuries when a suspect struck them with one of the firearms.

The investigation is still in its early stages, and police want to hear from anyone with information.

The number to reach the London Police Service is 519-661-5670. Witnesses can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip online.
