Norfolk man charged after two others threatened with knife

A 54-year-old man is facing half a dozen charges after two people were assaulted and threatened with a knife in Delhi.

Norfolk OPP were called to a home on King Street just after 10 p.m. on Saturday for a report of an assault.

Officers determined an argument between a man and two others escalated with the man pulling out an "edged weapon" and assaulting the pair.

Police did not disclose whether anyone was injured during the incident.

A Norfolk County man has been charged with six offences including assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, and failure to comply with probation order.

The accused was scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on Monday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
