Police find heroin, crystal meth, fentanyl inside Strathroy home

Two people are facing drug trafficking charges after police seized a variety of illegal substances from a home in Strathroy.

Strathroy-Caradoc police searched the home on Saulsbury Street on Friday. Inside they found an unspecified quantity of heroin, crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, hydromorphone, and cocaine.

More than $1,000 in cash and a large amount of stolen property was also seized by police.

A 36-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man, both from Strathroy, are charged with six offences including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The pair are scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on May 6.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
