One man hurt, another charged in west London stabbing

Charges have been laid in a stabbing in west London that sent a man to hospital Tuesday morning.

Two men were inside an apartment on Baseline Road West, west of Wharncliffe Road, around 10:40 a.m. when one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other, London police said.

Emergency crews were called and the victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 61-year-old man was arrested. He is charged with assault with a weapon and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

The incident was not random as the two men knew each other, police said.
