Man in hospital with critical injuries, London police investigating

Police are investigating after a man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after an incident at an east London home.

At around 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to a home on Egerton Street near Hamilton Road to help paramedics with a man suffering from multiple injuries.

The man was later transported to hospital where he remains in critical, but non-life threatening condition.

As a result, London police have launched an investigation. Few details have been released, but police say they believe the man was injured during an altercation with another man who might be known to him.

Police have not confirmed if an arrest has been made.

Members of the Major Crime Section remain on scene investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
