Police investigating after puppy stolen from yard

Provincial police in Norfolk County are asking for the public's help finding a four-month old puppy who was snatched from its owner's front yard.

The blue merle Border Collie was taken from the home on Charlotteville East Quarter Line around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

"The owner of the home was calling their dogs when they turned their back to enter their home. They then heard a car drive away and when they turned back around their four month old dog was missing," Norfolk OPP said.

The stolen pup is described as being white, black and grey in colour. A description of the suspect vehicle has not been released.

OPP continue to investigate the theft and are asking anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
