Three charged in guns, drugs seizure

London police say three people face charges after several guns and replica firearms, along with $250,000 worth of drugs, were seized at a home on Waterloo Street.

Officers with the Guns and Gangs Section raided the home on Thursday. They seized:

-double-barrel 12 gauge shot gun -converted .22 calibre firearm -loaded 9mm P80 handgun with an over-capacity magazine -loaded .38 calibre Smith and Wesson revolver -several replica firearms -386 rounds of .22 calibre ammunition -170 rounds of 9mm ammunition -22 rounds of .223 ammunition -16 rounds of .20 gauge ammunition -Eight rounds of .12 gauge ammunition -Seven rounds of .580 ammunition -Six rounds of .243 ammunition -1,969 grams of suspected methamphetamine, value $157,520 -177 grams of suspected cocaine, value $17,700 -153 grams of fentanyl, value $53,550 -2110 x eight milligram pills of suspected hydromorphone, value $21,110 -382 x 100 mg pills of suspected morphine, value $7460

A 47-year-old London man faces a long list of firearms charges, including 15 counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order. He's also charged with six counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A 36-year-old London man is charged with careless use/handling/storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a licence, and two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
