Woman wanted for driving vehicle at person outside St. Thomas school

Just over two weeks after an incident that left a person shaken at a St. Thomas school, police have issued an arrest warrant for a 60-year-old woman.

Police were called to the unnamed school on March 24 after a woman allegedly drove a vehicle at a high rate of speed toward another person. The vehicle stopped just a couple of feet shy of hitting the individual, St. Thomas police said.

A 60-year-old woman has now been charged by way of warrant for dangerous driving and mischief.

Police did not specify whether the woman and victim were known to each other.
