Police investigating gunfire

Investigators with the London Police Service are looking for answers after gunshots were reported in a townhouse complex.

Police were called to a complex at 253 Taylor St. around 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022. When they arrived, they discovered several shell casing. Some minor property damage was also reported.

"Preliminary information indicated that a black vehicle had been involved," police said. "There were no reported injuries and police do not believe that this was a random incident."

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
