Six Londoners charged after $269K worth of various drugs seized

A police raid on three London homes last week turned up more than $269,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl , and various other drugs.

Officers with the London police guns and gangs section, along with the emergency response and canine units, searched the homes on Chelton Road, Gramercy Park Place, and Langmuir Avenue last Thursday. Inside, they found 2,406 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 580 grams of cocaine, 56 grams of fentanyl, 16 grams of crack cocaine, 176 dilaudid pills, 67 hydromorphine pills, three oxycodone pills, 21 hydromorphone pills, 1,308 grams of a cutting agent, a digital scale, and a set of brass knuckles.

Police estimate the total street value of the drugs seized is $269,862.

Six Londoners, ranging in age from 32 to 48, have been charged with multiple counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Four of the six face an additional charge of possession of a prohibited weapon.

All of the accused are scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges at a later date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
