Craig Needles Podcast Episode 51: Friday Round Table, April 22nd

On the newly reassembled Friday Round Table, Ward 6 Councillor Mariam Hamou, political insider Ryan Gauss and former city councillor Cheryl Miller join Craig to discuss the top issues of the week.

First, they talk about school board governance in the wake of the board's masking vote. Has this model outlived its usefulness? Do school trustees actually have decision making power?

Then, the housing crisis. We're in one. Is offering land for a school the right way to get a subdivision built? Should councillors go for the controversial deal they've been offered?

After the round table, Craig discusses Earth Day and the federal government's climate priorities with federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change Steven Guilbeault.
