Electrical fire in East London

The London Fire Department (LFD) reported that multiple crews responded to a fire on Ashland Avenue on Saturday.

It took several hours for the crews to put out the fire and completely ventilate the home.

LFD said that a cat was removed from the residence at that there were no injuries in the incident.

After an investigation, the cause of the fire was deemed electrical.

The amount of damage done has yet to be released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
