Overturned transport causes delays on Hwy. 401 west of London

An overturned transport truck temporarily brought traffic to a halt on Highway 401 west of London Wednesday morning.

The tractor-trailer flipped onto its side in the westbound lanes of the highway just west of Colonel Talbot Road around 5:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

The westbound lanes between Colonel Talbot and Union roads were closed for approximately two hours while crews worked to clear the mess.

All lanes were reopened just before 8 a.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
