Oxford OPP investigating after delivery vehicle robbed, driver assaulted

A delivery driver was allegedly assaulted and held at gunpoint during a robbery north of Woodstock on Wednesday afternoon.

Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. Officers were called to the area of 14th Line and Oxford Road 33 in East-Zorra Tavistock Township for a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, police learned that a black, Ford F-150 intentionally struck a delivery vehicle. OPP say three Black males were reportedly seen exiting the pick-up truck and one of the men is said to have brandished a gun.

Police say the trio fled after a large quantity of electronics was stolen from the delivery vehicle. The delivery driver sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
