Lightning, Express play Game 1 of playoff series Sunday

Basketball fans will be able to take in playoff action in London and Windsor this month.

The National Basketball League of Canada released the five game first round playoff scheduled between the London Lightning and Windsor Express on Monday.

The first two games in the series will be held at Budweiser Gardens in London at 2 p.m. on May 15 and 7 p.m. on May 17. Play then shifts to the WFCU Centre in Windsor for Games 3 and 4. The series then returns to London at 7 p.m. on May 24, if a Game 5 is needed.

Tickets for the playoff games will go on sale this week through the Budweiser Gardens and WFCU Centre box offices.

London heads into the playoffs as the top rated team in the league standings, having only lost four games all season. Windsor is fourth seeded overall with a 7-16 win/loss record during regular season play.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
