OPP contacted after 'suspicious' vehicle seen near school

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Oxford County are urging the public to report any peculiar activity they might see after a suspicious vehicle was seen parked by a school in Plattsville.

Police say they launched an investigation after they were told about a man sitting alone inside a vehicle parked near the public school on Mill Street, at around 5 p.m. on May 5.

The man is described as White and around 40-years-old. He is said to have been driving a brown, four-door vehicle, possibly a Buick.

"Residents are reminded to always be aware of their surroundings and are encouraged to report any suspicious activity at the time," a statement from the Oxford County OPP read.
