Transport mishap takes out wall of Woodstock truck wash

No injuries were reported after a transport crashed through a truck wash in Woodstock.

The big rig came through the cinder block wall of the Blue Beacon on Athlone Avenue, just off Highway 401 on Tuesday.

The Woodstock Fire Department posted a picture of the mishap on social media. It shows the undamaged red truck partially pulled out of the wash, with a portion of the upper wall laying between it and its dark coloured trailer. The door and other rubble is scattered about.

The area was cordoned off with yellow tape and the truck wash remains closed.

At this point, no charges have been laid.
