Man charged after two sexual assaults

London police say a man faces charges after two young girls were sexually assaulted at an east end shopping centre.

According to police, officers were called to the shopping centre on Highbury Avenue and Huron Street just after 6 p.m. on Friday, May 13 after a young girl was sexually assaulted. Investigators determined that a second young girl had also been sexually assaulted in the same shopping centre.

The man tried to run from the scene but was stopped by a citizen who then called police.

A 32-year-old man is charged with two counts of sexual assault.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
