Three men suspected of damaging and removing pride flags

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from Oxford County received reports of theft and mischief on Stover Street, in Norwich Township early Friday morning.

Police determined that a pride flag was stolen from a hydro pole and another pride flag was spray-painted.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday it was reported to police that the previously vandalized flag and a third pride flag from a hydro pole on Main Street, had been stolen.

After viewing video surveillance, police believe a white GMC Sierra pick-up truck, a red tractor, and three male suspects dressed in orange safety gear, to be involved.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
