Charges laid after Londoners threatened with knife

A 36-year-old London man has been charged after several people were threatened with a knife in Old North.

According to London police, the victims were approached by a man who was not known to them in the area of Adelaide Street North and Victoria Street on Wednesday. The man was allegedly holding a large pruning knife and was uttering threats.

Police were called and the man was arrested nearby.

No injuries were reported.

A London man has been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and uttering threats to cause death. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on July 14.
