The London Health Sciences Centre announced that there will be changes made to its visitor policy as of Monday, June 6.
Reduced rates of Covid-19 in the area have allowed the hospital to make the following updates:
• Care partners will no longer be asked to provide proof of vaccination
• Care partner will no longer be required to register upon entry to the hospital
• Two care partners at a time are permitted for inpatients
• One care partner is permitted for outpatients. Though those who can attend appointments by themselves are encouraged to do so.
Visitors and patients will still be screened upon entering the hospital.
Anyone entering LHSC is required to wear a mask which will be supplied by the hospital during the screening process.
