Teen charged with pepper-spraying group in southwest London

A 15-year-old is facing nearly half a dozen charges in London's second pepper-spraying incident in less than a week.

London police were called to the disturbance on Wonderland Road South near Viscount Road around 2:45 p.m. on Friday. Officers arrived to find a group of teens had been sprayed with the noxious substance. They were assessed by paramedics and none were seriously hurt, police said.

A 15-year-old was arrested nearby. The teen, who cannot be named because of their age, is charged with three counts of assault with a weapon, one count of administering a noxious substance, and one count of resisting arrest.

The teen is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on July 25.

Last Wednesday, a 16-year-old was charged after a group of teens downtown were sprayed with pepper-spray and one was hit with a baton.
