One dead in fatal tractor crash in North Middlesex

One person is dead after a tractor rollover in North Middlesex.

Emergency crews were called to Brinsley Road just before 2 p.m. Friday.

Middlesex OPP say the tractor driver was cutting the grass along the shoulder of the road when the vehicle flipped, pinning them. As a result, the individual was pronounced deceased at scene.

The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Brinsley Road was closed for around five hours while officers investigated and cleared the scene. The area has since reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
