House fire in north London causes $600,000 worth of damage

The London Fire Department (LFD) responded to a fire at a townhouse on Lawson Road on Sunday morning.

LFD said that crews discovered two 7.5 kg propane tanks that were venting and in the fire behind the townhouse.

The fire was put out quickly, according to the fire department, and no injuries were reported.

The Ontario Fire Marshal has been contacted due to the high dollar amount of damage done. The estimated damages are valued at approximately $600,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
