Two charged in robbery, kidnapping of London man

Arrest warrants have been issued for two men accused of kidnapping and robbing a London man over the weekend.

London police were called about a break and enter at a home in the east end of the city on Sunday afternoon. While investigating that incident, they learned a resident of the home had been abducted. Cash and other property was taken from the man before he was assaulted and dumped just east of London.

The man, who had suffered minor injuries, went to a nearby residence where he called police.

Police have determined this was not a random incident as the man knew his attackers.

The case has been turned over to the police major crime section.

Dylan Peter Shawn Slota, 22, of London and Devan Ray Gee, 24, of Ingersoll have been charged by way of warrant with kidnapping and robbery. Slota is additionally charged with breaking, entering and theft.

Police continue to search for the two wanted men.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts are asked to call police at 519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
