Woodstock man charged in child pornography investigation

A Woodstock man faces several child pornography-related charges linked to an ongoing investigation.

According to the Woodstock Police Service, officers with the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, the Criminal Investigations Bureau, the Community Response Unit, and the uniform patrol branch, completed a search warrant at a home in the city last Thursday.

As a result of the search, investigators seized evidence that led to charges against a 58-year-old man including, distributing child pornography, possession of child pornography, and accessing any child pornography.

Police continue to investigate.
