Pedestrian killed in south London crash

London police say a man is dead after a crash involving a pedestrian in the city's south end.

According to investigators, officers were called to a crash at around 5:19 p.m. Friday, near the area of Wellington Road and Southdale Road East. Police say the collision involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Emergency crews arrived and located an adult male pedestrian, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

Few details have been released.

Members of the Traffic Management Unit continue to investigate.
