Police investigating homicide in East London

The London Police Service (LPS) is investigating an early morning homicide.

At approximately 6:30 Sunday morning police and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a 9-1-1 call about an injured man in the area of Clarke Road and Dundas Street, LPS said in a statement.

The man was transported to hospital by EMS, but later died due to his injuries.

The identity of the victim is being withheld until next-of-kin have been notified.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this event or has surveillance footage which may capture the area of Dundas Street, Clarke Road, and Wavell Street to contact them at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
