Truck crashes into southwest London store

One person was taken to hospital after a truck slammed into a cannabis store in southwest London Monday evening.

Sometime before 7 p.m. emergency crews responded to a business on Wonderland Road near Southdale Road after a commercial vehicle crashed into a building.

Crews arrived to find a landscaping vehicle had jumped the curb, and collided into the front doors of the One Plant cannabis store.

London fire officials say one person was extricated from the vehicle and taken to hospital.

No other injuries have been reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
