Capri Sun Wild Cherry flavoured juice drinks recalled

Thousands of cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry flavoured juice drinks are being pulled off store shelves by Kraft Heinz after a cleaning solution was accidentally introduced into a production line.

The company said the cleaning solution was diluted and was used to clean processing equipment.

The recall is voluntary. The company issued it after several consumer complaints about the taste.

The products have a best-before date of June 25, 2023. They are in individual foil pouches and were shipped to retailers in cases that contain four cartons that are shrink-wrapped together.

Consumers should not drink the product and can return it to the store for a refund.

They can also contact Kraft Heinz between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST at 1-800-280-8252 for reimbursement.
