UPDATE: Sexual assault charges withdrawn in Grand Bend incident

A 39-year-old London man faced sexual assault charges after an incident in Grand Bend on Saturday, August 13.

At the time, Lambton OPP said they received a report of an assault that occurred on Main Street.

When officers arrived they located two adult victims that reported being assaulted by an individual.

As a result of the investigation a suspect was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault.

Edit: Charges against the accused were later withdrawn, and Sarnia News Today removed the suspect's name.

The Ontario Court of Justice confirmed the parties agreed to a peace bond.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
