Suspect vehicle sought after cyclists injured in hit and run

London police have released a photo of a truck that reportedly swerved into a group of cyclists in south London over the weekend.

At around 9 a.m. Sunday, a group of four cyclists were riding along White Oak Road near Harry White Drive when a pickup truck veered into them, injuring the two lead riders. The driver allegedly took off and the pair of cyclists were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Early Monday evening, police released a photo of the vehicle believed to be involved.

The truck is described as a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, with chrome front and rear bumpers, tinted windows, plastic window rain guards and tonneau cover. The vehicle also has an identifiable white sticker on the rear window on the passenger side that appears to be similar to "Olaf" from the Disney movie Frozen.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
