ATM stolen from West Elgin business

Elgin County provincial police are investigating after a bank machine went missing from a business near West Lorne on Labour Day.

Officers were called at around 7:35 a.m. for a report of a break-and-enter and theft of an automated teller machine (ATM) from a business on Graham Road in West Elgin.

According to police, between 3:08 a.m. and 4 a.m., a pair of suspects entered the business, removed the machine and loaded it into a pickup truck described as an older model Chevrolet Silverado. The truck was last seen driving north on Graham Road.

The first suspect is described as a White, heavy-set man. A second suspect is a Black man with a medium build.

Members of the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit continue to investigate the robbery.
