McNay Street stabbing suspect arrested

London police have located a man wanted in connection to a stabbing in the city's east end earlier this month.

Officers were called about the stabbing that happened on McNay Street between Rock Street and Victoria Drive shortly before 11 p.m. on September 19.

A man was found in that area suffering from a stab wound and he was taken to hospital where he remained for several days. No other updates on his condition have been provided.

On September 22, police announced they were searching for 47-year-old Michael James Post of London, who faces a charge of aggravated assault. Investigators confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Post has since been arrested.

The accused was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
