UPDATE: OPP locate missing Elgin County mom and baby

The Ontario Provincial Police in Elgin County say they have found a woman and her newborn baby reported missing over the weekend.

Police received a call on Sunday to check on the well-being of 27-year-old woman and her infant child.

Early Monday evening, the OPP confirmed they located the two in London.

Officers are thanking the public for their assistance in the matter.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
