Four taken to hospital after crash

London police say one person suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision at Highbury Avenue and Hamilton Road.

The collision happened around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday and forced the closure of the intersection for several hours.

According to police, two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Four people were taken to hospital.

"Two of the involved individuals were transported to hospital by paramedic services where one remains in life-threatening condition and the second in serious condition," police said.

The intersection has since re-opened.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
