One charged in nearly $60K drug bust

A London man faces a list of charges after police seized nearly $60,000 worth of drugs.

Police raided a home in the area of Settlement Trail and Raliegh Boulevard on Wednesday. According to police, officers seized crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, cash, a revolver, digital scales, a cell phone, and jewellery.

Police estimate the street value of the drugs at $59,150.

A 34-year-old man is charged with four counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking. He also faces one count each of careless storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, operation of a conveyance while prohibited, and possession of a prohibited firearm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
