High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

A 34-year-old Toronto man has been charged after $27,400 worth of cocaine was seized in London.
Officers with the London police guns and gangs section and emergency response unit discovered the illegal drug during the search of a Woodward Avenue home and a vehicle on Saturday.
In total, police seized 274 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, two cell phones and $3,805 in cash.
A Toronto man was arrested and charged with trafficking drugs and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
He is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on November 25.
