Woodstock crash sends two pedestrians to hospital

Two people were sent to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving two pedestrians in Woodstock.

Woodstock police were called to the collision on Mill Street and Parkinson Road on Wednesday morning. Officers determined a vehicle had hit two pedestrians in the intersection.

The pair were taken to hospital with injuries described as serious, but non-life threatening.

The roads were closed for several hours. They reopened just before 11:30 a.m.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, police said.
